As I want to share my experiences and challenges, why not write about the gadgets that I find very helpful.
The Gadgets
- Smartphone holder for on your desk.
Or kitchen table, and any other place you like to have a video chat from, want to watch a video, play a game etc. It’s light, small, fits phones and tablets and even looks nice.
One feature I would check for is that the stand can be set to various viewing angles!

- Smartphone holder for your car, which fits almost every phone!
The nice thing about this product is, that it fits a wide range of phones. It’s also very easy to fix in place. And the sticky bottom doesn’t leave a mark when you remove it again! If the phone is no wider then … then this is the one to go for in my opinion. Though this product is sold via AliExpress, I found it a great product which is also very cheap.
- Wine vacuum pump
We all know the scenario where you had a nice evening with your family or friends enjoying some good food and drinks. But at the end of the evening you’re left with one or more half empty wine bottles. What do you do? You can drink it even though you had enough, you can poor in down the drain or put the cork back on, if you didn’t threw it away or broke it during the uncorking. But it will still leave your wine good for only a max of 2 days. With the vacuum pump you pump out the air which will make the wine last for at least a week!
- Whiskey cooling blocks!
If you are a real whiskey drinker then you know putting ice in your whiskey is not done… But how to do you keep your whiskey cold then ? Say hello to the whiskey cooling blocks :)
